Our Story

Caring for Pets, Farm Animals, and everything in between.

At All Precious Vets, we believe every life is precious, and we know your pet is part of the family. Our Gold Coast mobile veterinary service brings expert, personalised veterinary care directly to your home — so you and your pets can enjoy health checks, treatments and support in the comfort of familiar surroundings — the care that comes to you!

Whether you have an anxious pet, mobility challenges, farm animals, or just want less stressful vet visits, we’re here to help.

Why Choose All Precious Vets?

Travelling to a traditional vet clinic can be stressful for pets — especially cats, seniors, or animals with anxiety. Our home visits eliminate car rides and waiting rooms, reducing anxiety and fear for both pets and owners.

Personalised & Compassionate Service

We’re a family-owned mobile veterinary practice focused on high-quality, empathetic care. Our priority is to keep your pets healthy, happy and comfortable — providing time, attention and communication that larger clinics often can’t match.

Accessible for Everyone

We make veterinary care more convenient for:

  • Elderly pet owners

  • Clients with reduced mobility or disability

  • Families with limited transport

  • Families with children

  • Families with carer responsibilities

  • Owners of small ruminants and farm animals like cows, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks & guinea pigs

All Precious Vets has been a lifelong dream for Dr Lauren, realised after many years of general and emergency practice. Since the age of 6, Dr Lauren developed a strong passion for animals and dreamed of being a veterinarian, and one day being able to provide veterinary care to pets of all kinds in the comfort of their own home!

Dr Lauren Evans BVSc

Veterinary Director and Principal Veterinarian

Dr. Lauren grew up in Flagstone, Jimboomba with many pets including 5 miniature poodles, cats, chickens, and guinea Pigs.

She graduated from The University of QLD with honours in 2016. Since then, Dr Lauren has spent 7 years working in small animal general practice, and 3 years in veterinary emergency and critical care.

During her time working in general practice, Dr Lauren had the privilege of attending many house call visits, often to perform end of life care and compassionate euthanasia at home, or to visit pets of elderly pet owners and owners with disabilities. Dr Lauren realised the need for veterinary house call visits, as busy veterinary clinics were often unable to leave the clinic for long periods of time, were often fully booked with busy schedules, and often unable to provide the number of house call visits that were required.

During her time in general practice Dr Lauren observed the difficulties many pet owners have in bringing their pets to the vet clinic. Many pet owners struggle to seek veterinary care while caring for small children, elderly or disabled loved ones, or while navigating loss of license with aging, mobility issues, or disability. Dr Lauren also discovered many clients in the Gold Coast area struggle to access veterinary care for their pet farm animals, due to many veterinary clinics being small animal only.

Through this, Dr Lauren developed a passion to help make veterinary care more accessible to everyone and every pet – and All Precious Vets was born!

Dr Lauren now lives at the Gold Coast and shares her home with Husband Alex, her two children Kaleb and Levi, two dogs Patrick (English Springer Spaniel x German Shorthaired Pointer), and Ruth (Lhasavoodle), and her 3 cats Eli (Ragdoll), Sophie and Amirah (DSH Cats).

Alex Evans

Practice Manager and Registered Nurse

Alex grew up on a farm in Tamborine Mountain, surrounded by animals from a young age. He has a passion for helping people and their pets. Alex has undertaken studies in agriculture and animal science and graduated from Griffith University as a registered nurse in 2016. He has since obtained an extensive skillset in oncology, haematology, palliative care, rural and remote nursing and emergency and critical care. He continues to work in his profession, and he looks forward to transferring his skills across into the veterinary nursing world also!

Alex’s passion for caring for people and their pets has largely been inspired by his late grandmother Joan, who he adored, and helped care for in her old age, whilst studying his Bachelor of Nursing. Throughout this time, he observed how her little dog Amber (a Papillon) enriched her life beyond measure, especially in her final years.

Alex has also seen many friends, family members and patients navigating complex and challenging health issues and has observed the role that animals play as a companion in the recovery journey, igniting his desire to combine these two passions!

Alex currently lives at the Gold Coast with his wife Lauren, his sons Kaleb and Levi, his best mate and fur-son Patrick (English Springer Spaniel x German Shorthaired Pointer), fur-daughter Ruth (Lhasavoodle), and 3 cats Eli (Ragdoll), Sophie and Amirah (DSH Cats).
